A stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background, is a memorable experience. Many European style bungalows can be seen along the shoreline. The coastal stretch has loads of small stalls, which make on demand mouth-watering traditional cuisines using freshly caught fish.

Visit Cherai Beach (Approx 20 Kms)

This lovely beach ideal for swimming is located on the north end of Vypeen island, one of the many small islands just off the mainland. The beach is lined by gorgeous coconut groves and paddy fields. Vypeen can be reached by land or by boat.

Shopping in Broadway (Approx 2 Kms)

Broadway, with its many alleys and cross roads, is situated in the heart of the city.

Broadway was once the widest road in town and that is how it got its name. With the passage of time, M G Road became one of the main shopping areas and Broadway, a narrow street.  Broadway, whose sloping-roofed buildings preserve its old-world charm, is one of the shopping hubs of Kochi.

M. G. Road is the most urbanized face of Kochi. Lulu Mall (Asias Biggest Mall (Approx 8 Kms)

LuLu International Shopping Mall is the largest shopping mall in the city of Kochi, India. Owned and managed by the EMKE Group it covers 17 acres of land with 1,700,000 sq ft of gross leasable area. This mall is the second largest shopping mall in India, after the Phoenix Market City located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
